What we collect
Case information entered by funeral homes and families (including decedent details, family contacts, photos, videos, and — with consent — recordings of arrangement conversations), account information for staff, and technical logs. Social Security numbers are encrypted at rest and masked in the interface.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: preparing funeral records and memorial materials, including AI-assisted drafting and extraction. AI providers process content to provide those features; we do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content to train models.
Sharing
With the funeral home handling your case; with processors we use to run the service (hosting, storage, AI, payments, email); and when the family chooses to publish a memorial page. Memorial pages are public only when the funeral home publishes them.
Retention & deletion
Funeral records are retained by the funeral home per their legal obligations. Families may ask their funeral home to remove shared photos, videos, or memorial pages at any time.
